Quartz grit is the main ingredient of engineered stone slabs.
Hard, even grains for durable floor and wall surfaces.
Clean quartz is a base raw material in glass making.
Fine quartz powder works as a filler for body and hardness.
Used in moulds, filtration and other industrial processes.
Powder grades for plastics, resins and fine-grain mixes.
Pick the type, then tell us the size. Exact ranges are agreed per order.
Angular crushed quartz in coarse and fine grades, for quartz surfaces and countertops.
Fine quartz for fillers, coatings and fine-grain mixes. Specification sheet on request.

Titanium dioxide pigment gives a bright white colour and strong coverage.
Titanium alloys are light and strong, used in aircraft frames and engines.
Titanium resists seawater, so it is used in ship fittings and offshore equipment.
Heat exchangers and pipework that must withstand harsh chemicals.
Implants and surgical tools, because titanium is safe for the body.
Rutile is used in the coating of welding electrodes.

Titanium dioxide made from ilmenite gives paint a bright white colour and strong coverage.
The same pigment whitens plastics and makes paper brighter and more opaque.
Upgraded ilmenite feeds titanium metal for aerospace, marine and medical parts.
Ilmenite is used in the flux coating of some welding electrodes.
Smelting ilmenite gives titanium slag, a richer feed for pigment plants.
Its high density suits some heavy concrete and weighting uses.

Ground zircon makes glazes white and opaque, and keeps the colour stable at high firing temperatures.
Zircon sand does not melt or react easily with hot metal, so it is used for moulds and cores.
Bricks and linings for furnaces, kilns and steel and glass plants that run at very high heat.
Zircon is the starting material for zirconium oxide and other zirconium compounds.
Zirconium metal and alloys resist corrosion and are used in reactors and chemical equipment.
Zircon compounds are used in specialty glass, enamel coatings and technical ceramics.

Graphite is the main material in the anode of lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles and electronics.
Added to steel and used in foundry moulds and coatings, where it handles high heat.
Bricks and crucibles lined with graphite withstand the heat of furnaces and metal melting.
Graphite powder reduces friction and wear in machinery and high-temperature equipment.
Used in brake pads, motor brushes and other carbon products that need to conduct and resist heat.
Graphite mixed with clay is the “lead” in pencils, and it is used in many art materials.

Fine mica powder gives makeup, soaps and creams a soft shimmer and a smooth feel.
Mica flakes add pearl effect, protect the surface and help paint resist weather.
Mica is an excellent electrical insulator and stays stable at high temperatures.
Added as a filler, mica makes plastics and rubber stiffer and more stable under heat.
Used in joint compound, roofing and wallboard to improve strength and resist cracking.
Mica is added to drilling fluids to help seal small leaks in the borehole wall.

Sri Lanka has been famous for its gemstones for centuries. Its old name, Ratnadeepa, means the island of gems.
Gems have been dug here for a very long time, mostly from river gravels in and around Ratnapura, a town whose name means city of gems. Sapphires, rubies, cat's eyes and moonstones from the island are known around the world.
Tell us which gem you are looking for and we will take it from there.
